Burley, Idaho: In a sign of the company’s continued commitment to scientific discovery, Redox Bio-Nutrients LLC today announced it has hired a third highly regarded scientist to its research team. Formulation Scientist Dr. Karthik Mani has transitioned from North Carolina State University to starting work at the company’s Burley, Idaho Headquarters. His primary focus areas will be integrating bioactive components from diverse biostimulant sources and advancing their impact in modern cropping systems.
“The arrival of Dr. Mani matches our team precisely,” remarked Dr. Gifford Gillette, Head of Research at Redox. “His experience at the intersection of biomaterials, formulation science, and bioactive systems aligns with the opportunities emerging in agriculture today. He joins a team advancing the next generation of biostimulant-driven technologies in agriculture.”
Dr. Mani joins Dr’s Gillette and Debatosh Das, as well as a highly capable research team that quantifies how biostimulants influence crop production and quality which in turn helps growers work more efficiently.
In addition to internal research, Redox validates products through a rigorous process including universities, contract research organizations, and grower trials. Company standards require efficacy over several years and with hundreds of data points before it is ready for commercial use.
Dr. Mani has a PhD in Chemistry and brings more than 13 years of experience spanning organic chemistry, biomaterials, and nano-enabled formulation technologies. He comes to Redox following a highly productive postdoctoral appointment at North Carolina State University.
