: Plant-available silicon delivers unique agronomic benefits, including: physically reinforcing tissues for thicker, stronger cell walls, abiotic stress tolerance, and improved nutrient transport.
: Mainstay Si delivers soluble monosilicic acid—the only form of silicon plants can actually absorb and use immediately. Very minimal amounts are needed because of its efficiency, and it is slow release, meaning it can provide a steadier supply over time. Calcium acts as a synergistic carrier and a bioactive plant nutrient. Silicon is the functional component for structural reinforcement and stress mitigation.
: Most silicon in the soil is locked up and unavailable, but when it’s converted into monosilicic acid, it dissolves in water and moves easily into the plant with the water it pulls from the soil. Once inside, it’s deposited into the cell walls and hardens into a strong, thick layer.
