Build and lead Redox’s first regional technical function across the Midwest.
Redox Bio-Nutrients is seeking its first Midwest Technical Agronomist to build and lead the company’s regional technical function. This field-based role will translate plant science and product knowledge into practical recommendations, credible field validation, training, and confident biostimulant use.
The successful candidate will be a hands-on applied scientist or senior agronomist who can work independently, build standards for a new regional capability, and work closely with the Midwest sales team and product management team to connect customer and field needs with research, product strategy, and commercial priorities. The position will report directly to Gifford Gillette, Ph.D., Director of Agronomy.
B.S. in agronomy, crop science, plant science, soil science, plant physiology, agricultural chemistry, biochemistry, or a related discipline; M.S. or Ph.D. preferred.
Ideally 7+ years in applied agronomy, technical service, agricultural research, product development, or a related role. Equivalent advanced education and experience will be considered.
Demonstrated understanding of Midwest cropping systems, including major row crops, soil and weather variability, fertility, and on-farm adoption.
Ability to evaluate plant-response claims, experimental design, product fit, timing, rates, compatibility, and performance data. Biostimulant or crop-input experience strongly valued.
Evidence of building programs, setting standards, leading cross-functional work, and earning trust with sales, product management, technical teams, and customers.
Strong writing, presentation, training, and interpersonal skills for scientists, agronomists, retailers, and growers.
Self-directed and organized, with proficiency in common data-analysis and presentation tools and the ability to produce clear protocols and defensible conclusions.
